WraSer Pharmaceuticals Announces the Recall of Cetraxal® (ciprofloxacin otic solution) 0.2% professional samples, Lot #s F09019, G09051, G09052, G09083

 

Ridgeland, MS – November 7, 2011 – Mississippi based WraSer Pharmaceuticals announces the recall of Cetraxal® (ciprofloxacin otic solution) 0.2% professional samples, Lot # F09019, G09051, G09052, or G09083. The Lot # can be found by viewing the back of the Cetraxal® samples found in a bolded blue box. WraSer initiated the recall of the four distributed lots on Friday, September 30 by email/formal letter notifying sales representatives and asking for their immediate follow up with physicians.

 

Details of the Recall:

 

The recall of Cetraxal® only pertains to professional samples and only to the specified lots. The Cetraxal® professional sample recall pertains to moisture loss of the product that was caused by a non-hermetic sealing of the foil pouching. WraSer does not believe the recalled product represents a health hazard. The sealing has been corrected on samples and commercial product with Lot numbers outside of the recalled Lots.
